Hi everyone,
I have a task I have been attempting to complete for some time now. I am trying to turn my scanned pencil drawing into a digital painting with Photoshop. I have found a number of tutorials online, but have yet to find a technique that can help me accomplish my goal effectively.
Can someone help?

Is there any chance we can see the sketch?

If I am turning a sketch into a digital image. I would generally start by doing all the black areas. Lines & shapes etc. Then color in the sections that need color afterwards. That is a very basic game plan, but without seeing what you are attempting, it would be difficult to say anything more complex.

There are many techniques to achieve this but the first, most basic thing is to isolate your sketch/line drawing into a layer of its own. After which you can add color fills, gradients, textures and subtleties to bring your drawing to life.

Also, I just registered to the forums, so this is my third post. I am going to post five times, just so that I can attach my links to my post. I hope this is not going to be an issue.
