Turn a logo into a 3d image..

"A logo" is just too vague to be able to comment. Perhaps you could post the logo you have in mind.

Here is the logo:

IX WALLPAPER!!!!!!!.jpg

Like you see here stands the logo 100% straight and in the first post of this topic it is a bit turned and that is what i want but i don't know how????

Btw:what annoys me a lot is that the logo is not that sharp and clear when i save it.. but when i work with it it is and i just don't know what the problem is????

This is a big wallpaper..

Did you create this?.... Could you post the original without the glow effects?

And when you say 3d... is it 3d solid object? The character in my avatar is a poseable 3d model.

Your first image is more of like a flat plane transformed into a perspective view.

First , if that's a flattened image, create a layer of the logo. Then you have to do a tight crop your image so it'll contain only the logo. Then enlarge the canvass and fill background layer with background color..

You need to transform it.... CTRL+T.... Use the handle points to distort it. to get the side to side , up and down distortions, hold down the CTRL key + drag the points whichever way you wish to get the desired POV (Point of View).

One more thing.... you always mention of the clarity of your images. What image resolution are you working with?

Yes this what i was searching for.. not 100% flatten like the original one.

Wow.. so much explanation and it's not gonna be easy to do it but i'm gonna try it though.

About the image resolution:it's different for each image.. like this one is a wallpaper for my 22inch screen and i took 1920x1080 but for the most logos i choose 500x500 or something like that.

BTW:THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR "WILLING" TO HELP!!!!

No problem. Take it slow and easy ... it's only 5 steps basically.

Logo's good. What's it for ?

OK, that's image size . Resolution? I may be wrong but is your wallpaper (tho big) at 72 pixels/in? When I create wallpapers, I take into consideration the monitor sizes and work at either 150 or 300ppi. Unless I want to keep it at the working size, I save the FA down to 72 at the same time retaining the size for the final. Others may have different ways.

Distortion works great man and i can do what i wanted with letters but with logos it is not that great but you can have a little bit of the "turned" effect instead of 100% flatten..

this is solid 3d form with perspective and light reflections, added some glow as you can see.

don't really use photoshop for this type of work, i rather use another external 3d modeling tools, but i'm pretty sure u can accomplish this kind of work in Photo Shop CS4 - CS5 3d design Tools.

A 3d-modeller in the house! Give me five....

Good work on this one.

Window 7... that's why I asked you about 3d objects. I'd do the same, too if I would do animation or perspectives.
