Hello,

I have a PSD file that has a outline where I can import another image into, the PSD file is a flyer.

I have the "image" that I want to place inside this PSD file in the outlined area but I am not sure how to insert it. I know how to get the image into the file but not properly position it to fit inside.

I am sure the image I have chosen is too large, but I would like to fit it inside the "image here" outline in the PSD, even if my current image is not wide enough, I am ok with stretching it to fit the width.

As for the height, as long as the center CPU/person are visible.

No idea how to do this, is anyone able to help me out? Trying to get these printed.

My PSD is located here: techiefix.net/flyer/fmt.psd

I would copy the cpu pic to cllipboard by selecting the entire image and pressing ctrl + c.

Then in your psd template click on in the layers panel the insert image layer thumbnail icon (the left one of the two icons) while holding ctrl - this will select that layer.

In the edit menu find "Paste Special" and click paste into.

Then hit ctrl + t to transform the cpu image that you pasted into something you like. You will be able to reposition the cpu pic with the move tool inside the box.

You may or may not want to get rid of the triangle separator layer.
