Hey Guys,

Some of you may have seen my thread in the Show-Board section about a damaged photo I have restored. On the photo there is a lady sitting to the left with a cream/white t-shirt on, I have been asked to try and restore that bit too rather than do what I have done in the resto.

This is all I have to go on:

Here is the original image:

and my Restoration so far:

They want the t-shirt as well but there is nothing to go on apart from some apparent squiggles, as you can see.

Any ideas on how I can extract it, I can't even make out what it says or else I would try and find the t-shirt and put it in.

Please help if you can

Thanks in advance

Chris,
Great job by the way! I have been so out of pocket lately that I have missed a lot.

I wish I could offer some help, but like you, I don't think there's much you can extract with so much information lost to damage. I hope someone recognizes the design and can provide a reference. They may have to settle for just a plain white T.
Good luck!

Thanks Sam,

I have searched high and low for a similar design but in the end went free hand and painted it in the best I could considering the lack of reference:

This is how it turned out:

Not as good as I would have liked but not much else I can do :(

Nice one Paul, never thought of that lol. Have submitted the one above your post. Will see what happens. Thanks Buddy, will remember that one for next time hehe
