Trying out a vintage effect

Hey guys,

I'm trying out a vintage style effect centered around using a single brush set + various PS tweaks. It's for an upcoming tutorial, and I'd love to get any advice before writing it up.

That's *really* nice, Tom. I did a double-take when I first looked at it because it reminds me of dark / distressed pix I have of my mother driving around in the late 1920's / early '30's in a car like that.

Nice touch with the stamp as well.

Very nice indeed. The same effects could be used to make a normal scene into a Dark atmospheric image. I look forward to the tutorial.

SPWA: Absolutely! I may retry this on a halloween photo manip given the time of year, it may work well. Hoping to write up the tut for this tomorrow and publish Tuesday.
