Hi all!

I've been having a huge dilemma in photoshop lately. Whenever I try to make a new file, the viewing size of it is on 1.5%. When I put the zoom level to 100% it zooms all the way in as if its zoomed in to 500%.

Heres two screenshots of my problem: (when the zoom is on 1.5%) Screen shot 2012-09-18 at 12.50.41 AM.png
when zoom is on 100% Screen shot 2012-09-18 at 12.51.16 AM.png

Also, when I try to add a photo to the new file when its on 1.3% it shows up really tiny.

Can someone please help?

Your new document is set to some ridiculously large size (3.5gb). Depending on what you are trying to do you need to set an appropriate document size. Photoshop comes with document preset options in the new document dialog box, have a play with them to set a document size that will work for you eg Preset: - Photo Size: Landscape, 4x6 if you wanted to do a 6 x 4 photo.

Thank you for responding!
So if I wanted to create a 500 by 600 what would I have to do?
