Trouble copying text from one page to another

When I drag a text from one page to another, the text increases in size. Not sure why. Any help would be great.

it's probably because the other page has another resolution

Thanks for the reply. Both pages are in index and same resolution. Could there be a setting somewhere in preferences?

Is the layout size of the receiving document the same as the source?

Yes, page layout, resolution, color profile, all the same. I tried clicking on and off the setting in preferences "resize image during place" (see attached) . It worked but went back to original problem. Any help is good.
