Hey all.

Thought I'd post this here. I did this drawing as a memorial for a fallen officer.

The "angel" and little police cars were hand-drawn and scanned in. Everything else done in Ps.

Copies of this image will be printed out, framed, and given to friends, family, partners, etc., and it may eventually end up on a t-shirt as well.

I welcome any comments.

Hi agentmoeller

Nice work, only thing, i think there's too much of a yellow shade on the pic, also try creating something like a soft white glow like a portal at the end on the path,it seems like the path is going nowhere, also that yellow sunlight like on the top left side, doesn't really need to be there.

Max,

I agree completely, that it's very monochromatic and yellow. I wanted to add color somewhere, but this is what the specs called for. (not my idea!) The yellow light is supposed to be God shining on the officer (there is some hidden meaning in the text referring to God), but, as you said, it adds to the yellowness.

The client loves it, and will probably go with it.

The glow at the end of the path is a great idea. I was trying to create a glow around the halo before, but the white background makes it hard to see. I'll see what I can do.
