Over saturated mate in my opinion, if that's what you intended great stuff.
 
I agree with Paul. Could be more subtle. I played around with it. Used your after on the top layer set to color and decreased opacity. I made you a late-twilight-on-the-border-of-the-graveyard image.

I know you're experimenting, but if you make an image you really like, you're going to regret it if your resolution is as low as this one. Look for higher res photos. Your work will look better too.
 
It wasnt a matter of looking for a high res photo, my wife took it and I thought it looked fine for the purpose it served. I think the picture looks great as is.
 
I'm sorry dude. No disrespect intended. I think it's pretty cool. Just sayin it is a bit bright but it is also a matter of personal preference. Don't I know. And my little treatment of the picture is 180 in the opposite direction. I certainly wasn't trying to "correct" anything; just having my own fun with your very cool tree. I'm sorry for offending you.
 
you didnt offend me. I was just saying I like what I did with it and thus far everyone else likes it too.
 
Cool tree! If you have the time, I'd take it a step further and turn it into a dragon. Looks like it's half way there already, I mean just the natural shape of the tree... I look at it and I see a dragon. Keep up the nice work.
