Transparent background

Hi guys,i'm newbie in PS and i don't know what's going on,i set when i did a new file a Transparent background and when i put the image on an forum the background isn't transparent but is white....:sad:

oh you posted an image ..... I think I misunderstod
 
Well, the BG of the forum is either white or if you have it set on dark, you'll see dark grey/black BG. Try switching it to PSG dark. This is at the very bottom on the right hand side of the nave bar with a drop down arrow.

If anyone were to download your image and save as, they would have the transparent image. Of course, if you just copy a png, for instance, you'll get a black BG in PS.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I'm on the wrong track.

PS: like iDad, though I read your post 3 times, lol, if your img post is on another forum, don't know if they'll have a dark BG to check it. But believe me, your image is transparent; it just has to show through what's beneath it because it is transparent.

I solved,thanks.Now to dont make another Topic for a piece of information,can u tell me how i can rotate image?in photoshop...(i mean the command(ctrl+? or however is...)tell me please! :D
