Transformation tool

This is going to sound confusing.
While using transformation tool you see the frame for it or (points for use), is there any way to hide that while using it, make it transparent on screen,in other words.

On the PC ctrl+h. I assume cmd+h would work on the Mac.

Why would you want to be in the blind ?

I still have issues when I can see everything.......

the boxes hide what I need to see...... very small area to match up
