transform tool CS5

Lately, whenever I use the transform option it gets stuck on it.Meaning, I use to hit enter and the transform box would close, but now It will not. I have to go into another tool in order to rid layer of the box or go to another layer.Has anyone else notice this with CS5?

I usually just double click inside the object I am transforming.

nope not working.........this is getting frustrating

what a dope...I hit the show transform controls box accidentally leaving it checked and with the reset tool I was on the brush sets DOH!
