Hi all! I am fairly new to photoshop and have taken on a task that I believe may be a bit over my head. I have a picture of my 3 boys and want to take a portion of one image and place it over the other; that I have done fairly successfully. The skin tones however are my problem (note the hands on the middle child in the image). I am having an issue blending them properly and could use any tips you are willing to share.
Thank you!

I think you are having another problem with the middle child. It appears that this head is added as it is about 20% too large! If that's not the case, then I am embarrassed. And btw, it's not the hands but the face that doesn't blend. It is too bright and too pink. Maybe a hue/saturation adjustment layer clipped to the child's head. Turn down the saturation and if necessary, play with subtle moves on the hue. Just experiment. Let me know if this advice helps or whether the thinking cap should go back on

When I first saw the image, it seemed complete to me - as if this is how it was clicked. But on inspecting it deeper, the head of the middle child seemed a little bigger (as pointed by ibclare too). Rest everything seems okay and I too dont see any problems with the color of middle child.
