I have an 18 minute long video that looks mostly like this from start to finish:
What I need to do is follow one strand (see attached image) all the way through the video to the end of that strand. I followed it with the camera but I need to color or outline that strand so I can present the video and have my audience know which strand I'm talking about. The best example I can think of is if this were a football game and you wanted to track a player (by highlighting him or outlining him with a red circle) throughout the game. The camera doesnt stay still, it follows him up and down the field.
Any advice on how to do this? I tried doing this by hand (I broke the video down into 20,000 frames) and was going to hand color each frame in photoshop and they stitch them all together ...but its taking way too long.. there has to be an easier way.
