This is a photo downloaded from morguefile.com free photos (Free is good). I think I have improved the photo of the young lady considerably. Used PS as well as various filters in Topaz, Nik and Color Mechanic. I am going to just post the abbreviated version that is a screen shot of the original and finished still in PS. Comments welcome.

Very nice effort my friend, she is one dimensional now.
What i mean is she's very flat because of the softening and smoothing you have done, it is a very common failing in new to manipulations attempts.
Think about the shape of the face and the shadows within the structure of said face.
Keep going the more you do the better you get, we all do - even iDAD :mrgreen:
 
What about the skin color Paul? I did not take any readings on it, just eyeballed it. Mann accused me of having bad eyesight..LOL. I have trouble judging what's going to look OK in the browser sometimes. My eyes fool me. Things that look good to me don't necessarily pass the smell test of the graphics police.
Also, would the depth have been better had I not tidied up all that stray hair on her forehead?
