Titanic + Iceberg - waves under the ship

Hello again, I have decided to place the Big Ship at what other location than next to the very thing that caused her to sink :) ... But since she is merely passing by the 'berg (I don't want her to crash into it again, haha!), I want to add those waves that you see under moving ships as well as the water trail at the back...

While I managed to paste the Titanic into the picture well enough, I am thinking how to actually make those waves with Photoshop... I remember doing some simple waves years ago, when using MS Paint, but how do you do it in PS?

The photo is attached together with this thread, for easier reference... :D

Let's first talk about the image itself before we address the waves. The composition is a bit off due to the fact that the iceberg is dead center and extremely large. It's the primary focus of the image where it should only share that focus with the ship. I realize this may be your intent but I would still move the ship more towards the center of the canvas even if it meant that the berg was out of frame. This will give you more room. I suggest that you look into the compositional practice of the "rule of thirds", it may help you to understand what I'm referring to.

Also I noticed that she's listing to port, that indicates she's making a hard right turn, was that your intent?

Titanic iPT, you have very good ideas for composites with this famous ship.

Unfortunately you started off on the wrong foot by using a very low res. picture of a scale model of the titanic. With this image you'll never achieve a decent looking job, you have to look for better "Titanic images".

I googled one for you, though it is also a scale model, because you won't find original images in color anyway. Remember that was in 1912.
