I was inspired by "TitaniciTP" different posts with titanic images.

So I gave it a try and ended up finally with this composite. Feel free to add your critique or comments about this image.

This is an update with a shadow on the iceberg from the ship.

That's an excellent image splice.

But the reflection... at that angle, it should reflect the hull like in the original and not the stacks.....

Have to add, lessen the lighting on the bergs. I remember the Titanic was sailing on a moonless night when it collided with the berg. Add more shadows....

Aye, Cap'n Chris.... just noticed your avatar.... Iceberg's ahead....

OK.. Art is in the eyes of the creator and the beholder..... .

Maybe convert to a just before dusk scene?......

Thanks dv8-fx for your comment...always much appreciated.

In my images I always tend to idealize the situation. In this case, I didn't want to go for very dark image with this night scene. It is now more a dusk scene, as you mentioned it. Like an "american night" scene in earlier movies, where they shot in day light with underexposure.

Looking at that image the first thing that jumped out at me was there is no shadow on the iceberg to the right of the picture there should be remnants of the ship shadow on that iceberg but it is pretty cool manipulation

That's a good idea iDad. Forgot that completely!:banghead: I'll give it a try and post an update soon.

Great image Chris maybe some light accent on the iceberg from the ships lights?
