Thomas Kinkade Dead At 54

He painted a lot of his same paintings mulptiple times. My wife and I actually just oredered 2 of his paintings for aboout $3,000. They are Fifth Avenue #612/3450 and Cobblestone Bridge. Is it wrong that we ordered a famous artist's paintings because he died?

Nothing wrong with that.

On the investment side. the value of those paintings might multiply.

Years ago, there was an old man here who did a lot of nature paintings. He'd sell them to anyone who wants to buy them on the spot at a very cheap price.

Later in life he was conferred a Title - Datuk - something like the British "Knight". When he passed away, the value of his paintings multiplied ten-fold and now worth thousands.

My wife's sister owns one of the Fifth Avenue paintings and her husband paid like $4,000 for it so I consider myself lucky to get one of them at the price we did.

You lucky vampire you....

A friend bought a painting from the old man I mentioned 20 years ago .... small one of a local flower.... got it for approximately 20USD.

Now it's worth a 1500USD. The old man's bigger and more exquisite ones are worth 20 times that much.

We got our 2 Kinkade paintings today. We havent opened the boxes yet but each one is around 4 feet tall. Im not going to take pictures of them because the flash wil mess with the paint but I will post pictures of what they look like.
