This is new to me

I have lost the working window. It's not behind anything and it's not at the bottom of the screen or the sides.

I quit PS and reopened. Asked it to open an image...

It's still missing.

Where is it and how do I get it back?

I've never seen this before.

Have you tried checking this option



Secondly if that doesn't work try resetting your Workspace



Failing that try resetting PS preferences



For older versions of PS

To restore preferences quickly using a keyboard shortcut: Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop
