weird.jpg excuse the rubbish image i managed to take, but the noise this made was crazy:wink:
 
I heard they were having a little bit of trouble with "nose droop" before they put the canards on it. :bustagut:

I heard that the next step is going to be a "tandem" (kinda like the tandem tractor-trailer rigs). ;-)

Tom, my neighbor to the north is Germany.

This "plane" is a Kalinin K-7, a russian experimental aircraft, tested in the Soviet Union in 1930.
The aircraft completed seven test flights before a crash due to structural failure of one of the tail booms on 21 November 1933.

That's easy Tom, somebody was bored and drunk, or board and visually impaired, they saw a battleship and an airplane all-in-one image, and tried to copy it.:mrgreen:

I didn't realize it was from Russia. I thought it actually was from Germany, as they made some very strange experimental aircraft in WW2. I've been saving that photo in my odd-but-true photo folder, so now I can caption it properly. :-)

I was going to do some type of aircraft as well, but in searching I found some images that led to this.......

Might take some explaining.
