had to do something for my hw (as silly it might look). It looked like this (I took it with the snipping tool):

platypussssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.JPG
It was going well but randomly, I could not finish due to the pictures placed with 'place' were blank and could not be seen. You could move and resize the cube thing but it was blank inside.
To fix this problem I restarted the photoshop and the pictures began as appearing as such:
FUCK.JPG

I opened and closed the file a lot before and this never happened. It all started randomly and I think both problems are caused by the same thing (I might be wrong). Did I press something without knowing it? Did I lose this forever?
I opened it on my friends pc and restarted my own pc but the same problem still continues.

Is there a mask layer or a layer in a clipping group in the document that you could have moved accidentally? If it was in this condition when you saved it, that's it.

But if you can find the source of the problem, you may be able to fix it with a little tinkering.

I'm not too good with photoshop and its terms. I've looked at the layers and they themselves look fine to me. I'm not sure how to check all those you mentioned for a 100%. Now I get a message when I open photoshop that the 3d something something requires at least something ram and that photoshop did not detect that much in my comp and that updating the drive could help it. If that were the case, why did it work before? My laptop is a bit old and it's drive was from 2009. My laptops manufacturer doesn't even have the model listed in their download list and I could manage to download a 2011 one from ATI Radeon and it still didn't change it (the message persists so it is still not enough I think). do you think it might just work in a newer and better computer?
