sat here babysitting my usual computer doing the slowest disk check I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing.
it's an Imac, a pretty old one now, and it started to beep sporadically, instinct told me it was the hard drive judging by the grinding noises it made and it would only beep on a heavy access. Quick google search led to the SMART status telling us there's something up with the hard disk. woohoo!
so yeah, it's driving us all bleeping mad, so the tecchys left me to see what the disk check gives up. and there's no work for me to do as I left my EHDD at home rushing out this morning.
anyway, £5 bet the hard disk is seagate, i need some entertainment right now, i could not be more bored.
but at least it's one less infernal POS machine to drive me insane, i honestly don't understand what the heck was going through these people's heads giving us macs. yet we're sponsored by microsoft in almost everything.
