text problem CS5

hello!

I have this strange problem... When I am writing a new line with text tool, and I have number in the line (for example: 1. lala laa), the number jumps to the end of the line always (lala laa 1.)... How can I fix this to be normal again. Should be some simple way to change this, but I can't find solutions, that's why I came to this forum.

have you changed the text alignment?

If you mean Paragraph window; yes, I have been trying to align text to left, right or center, but all of these have the same resuly: no change.

If you don't mean that window, please explain more about "alignment"...
