text is fuzzy when printed?

I have tried for the life of me to figure this one out...why is my text ALWAYS fuzzy when I print it out, no matter what I do? I am not manipulating it at all, just typing it on my page, then printing. I have tried checking and unchecking "scale to fit media", I have tried printing straight from the psd file, I have tried printing from a saved jpg image. It doesn't look fuzzy/blurry at ALL on my computer screen.

Help, please? I would appreciate any tips or points in the right direction. I tried searching different boards multiple times, but to no avail. I need to pass out flyers to my neighborhood tonight for our 4th of July parade. (I know, I know, not exactly high brow stuff...) :P

ps: I am using CS3 and I have a Brother printer. TY!

Fuzzy type

This is too late for the 4th but for future projects try this.
If you have a version of Photoshop that keeps "live type" on a layer, keep it as such when you print. Don't let Photoshop rasterize the type layer.
If this doesn't help try a better quality of paper so the ink won't spread. Go to Office Max or Staples and ask for an ink jet paper that is of higher qulity. It doesn't have to be expensive just explain you don't want the ink to spread when printed.
One more thing, when you are ready to print, look at the Print Dialogue box. See if you can change the setting to high quality or something similar.
Also check your print dialogue box. When it appears change the setting to high quality or something similar.
Good luck!
