Hi Everyone. Im hoping to add an effect to some text similar to the tool lateralus album cover. like a bleached effect from edge of text. Is this doable in photoshop. Thanks

it's a text-effect "outerglow"
but with opacity 100 % noise 10% -technique precise -spread 0 - size 50 %
 
Awesome. Will try it when i get home. Was mucking around with outer glow but couldn't get it right. Thanks
