Text cut off in PDF

Hi, I am having a whole heap of trouble trying to fix a document for a school project.

I'm using photoshop to edit a document, then saving it as both a photoshop document and a PDF.

The document looks fine in PS. It gets messy in PDF. Text, etc keeps getting cut off.

Things tried:

1. I tried moving all text to the front
2. Moved "..." lines to the back
3. I tried looking for hidden layers @ cutoff points but am not seeing anything

Please see attached for example. I've spent a good deal of time on this but am getting nowhere.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

What worked for future reference:

1. shift+return for soft return
2. saving adobe acrobat 8
