Tell me what you think of my little mermaid

Hi everybody

For this project, I add the picture of the woman and needed to turn it into a mermaid. What do you think?

Nice! but the skin does not look like it is underwater . Skin just looks too natural and sharp.

Yes like Farenheit said i think the lighting or the color correction of the woman doesnt really gel well with the background. Needs a bit of treatment to make it feel underwater. More blue i'd say. Slightly less saturated skin and may be even have some of those light rays go over her to make her really fit inside that background. How about a softer blend between the upper and lower half of the body? You can tell there's a strong rim light hitting the fish part of her body and the lighting on the human part is almost diffused from somewhat leftside.

What you did with the photo of a woman is brilliant. However, and I agree, the skin doesn't match well with the background. It would also be better is more motions will be depicted in this work.
