I am new to photoshop and have been tasked with a few projects.
One of which is to remove the reflection from this glass and make it look believable...having some difficulty because of perspective of descending stairs - also different colors & brightness sun has created.

Using layers like curves and the clone stamp tool I have created a sloppy childish version of what it could look like without reflection.
This has been a cool learning experience for me so far and any help would be appreciated.
What would you do to this?

Hello and welcome to PSG.

Using layers like curves and the clone stamp tool I have created a sloppy childish version of what it could look like without reflection.
Let us take a look at your work so far.

I have some ideas, but I'm hoping some of our newer members will drop in to help you out.

I dont see another option than patience with cloning, but being new at photoshop it's a hard one to do...

You will have to clone stamp as much as you can, leaving the borders of the glass as it is. Also, if after you edit it and it doesn't look like a glass, I'd probably add some more "haze" over the glass, like you can see over the top 3 steps.

I'd suggest you use the selection tool and make proper, straight selections over the steps that you clone so that you don't clone over anything else by mistake and so that you have straight steps.

Bored at home so I worked on the picture. let me know if you want to see it so I can show you the final result

Please explain to the OP how you did it and show the result then since that is what the OP wants...
