I have always wanted to get a tattoo, and I have spent a long time thinking about it and what I want it to look like. I decided it had to involve the moon and ocean.

Since it might be hard to pull off a moonlit ocean scene without using a ton of black, I've decided that it will be the moon crashing into the ocean with waves coming up from the impact, from a person point of view(person not in the picture). The moon should fill up a large portion of the pic.

Preferably a daytime scene, since its most likely going to be black ink only. That way it won't need large areas of black.

I have no skills in photoshop or drawing, so I am asking if someone is up to the challenge of my making this for me? It will be most appreciated.

Did you have any particular style in mind? There are certain styles that look much better in B&W and then there are others that require different shading techniques. Realistic requires some serious time on the tattoo and it may involve more black than you are looking for. But something that looks a bit more "pen-drawn" I guess you could say would require less black. I'm not all fancy schmancy with art and terms, but I can draw, and I can do a great tattoo for you if you'd like :):cheesygrin:

Seriously, go to a reputable tattoo artist and ask them for ideas about placement and maybe even freehand if they are good enough.
The whole tattoo area is so personal, ok ideas can be shown and given - it sounds like you understand the concept and what you actually require.
But like i said before GO to a reputable tattoo artists studio and ask for there help.
