Tagging photos

I just started using Photoshop Pro X3 and was trying to add tags to the people in the photos. In other programs I use you could add a tag to a photo my clicking on a face and then click on a name in the catalog "Tree" and it would add the tag. It is very quick and easy. I find adding tags in Photoshop very difficult unless I am doing something wrong. On the right side of the photo there is a tagging box and you have to type each name in to every photo. Very time consuming. Is there an easier way? Thanks for any help. Mike

Photoshop Pro X3 ? I didn't know adobe had that.

Thanks dv8_fx. I meant Paintshop Pro x3. I was using it as a trial and was not happy with the tagging issues. I think I will go back to Photoshop Elements.
