Found this photo of my nephew that I took a few years ago and thought I would try to make something with it.
This is what I came up with. I have been practicing on my shadows. How did I do?

very nice pepgirlz.
although contrast of boy and rats does not match rest of the work.
background blur would be strong plus as it will direct eye to main object (the little adventurer :) now is to many objects in focus..

Smoke thanks for the comment. I tried to fix my nephew but there wasnt much I could do so I tried to work the rest around him. I never thought about blurring the background,I will have to try that. Thank you again Jean
 
Nice Piece. I agree with smoke about the shadows. Also I would perhaps take some Highlight out on you nephew. Otherwise I like it
