Suddenly, Adobe ACR images don't match Bridge or Photoshop

I am in the process of updating my computer, but in the meantime, I have run into a color problem. I use PS CS6 and my monitor is calibrated using a Datacolor Spyder. I photograph using RAW and have found that suddenly, my images are pale, and undersaturated when viewing them in ACR, but look normal when viewing in Bridge or Photoshop. I can't figure out what is happening. These images have always been a perfect match. Of course, Adobe will not help me as my product is no longer supported.
Has this happened to anybody else? Do you have a hint as to how I can get the images to match?

I also find the jpg thumbnails (and ONLY jpg thumbnails) look way too bright in Bridge. When I look at them in PS, or any other thumbnail asset manager (Irfanview, Fast Stone), the thumbnails look normal. All images look normal in Photoshop.

Thank you for your response, John. I tried the tip and it did not change the appearance of the jpg thumbnail. I have gone back into old images that were converted to a jpg in the final step and all old jpg thumbnails are doing the same thing: way too bright with colors obviously washed out too.

Do you have any other ideas? I haven't a clue what happened.

Thank you,
Monte

Hi @Monte Evans
I have not used CS6 for some time so I will have to defer to other forum members that are using the version.
You apparently have two separate problems that might be related and might not.
- Raw files in ACR that don't match PS
- Thumbnails that are too bright in Bridge
A couple ideas
1) The color management settings for all the Adobe applications need to be the same (synced). That can be the source of many problems
2) When using non-raw images, the should be saved with the color space in which they were created saved within each image. If not, it may display the images in a different color space.
Viewing a wide gamut color space image when the software thinks it is sRGB, the colors will be washed out
3) Since you are starting fresh with a new computer you could consider resetting preferences for each app you are using for the image.

Hope that provides a starting point of ideas.
