Stroke path help

Hello -

I am new to Photoshop. I created a path using the pen tool, but when I try the stroke path option it just doesn't do anything. I have selected my brush, changed the width of brush, etc. But when I stroke the path and choose brush and click ok, the path always looks the same as before. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks!

Are you sure that the foreground color isn't white?
Make sure that the selected brush, pencil or whatever you choose, paints by using the brush tool first.
I can't remember any other reason why it shouldn't work...

Why can't it be white? :D

I can't remember any other reason why it shouldn't work...

- opacity 0%
- fill 0%
- wrong blending mode of tool being used
- thinking that you didn't draw anything, when you actually did (extreme zoom levels and dpi settings)
- a beginner's mistake like forgetting that another layer on top blocks the view

etc, etc

You are so focused in disagreeing and bullying, that you can't read posts, nor help noboby anymore.
I've only posted this one AFTER I saw what you said to the png guy in the other post.
Man, you really have a problem.
BTW, changing nicks doesn't make a difference, we know you by your attitude.

That's funny, because anyone can check my posts and see that I do nothing BUT helping people.

What's wrong with adding more reasons why it doesn't work for him? Is that called disagreeing? And btw, even if I would disagree, is that a crime?

I just ask a normal question; why does the foreground color have to be white? You call that bullying?

And as for that one occasion where I commented on the behavior of some stubborn individual is that what you call bullying? :D

No, this i what I call bullying, your replies in the following threads:
