sparking particles

Hello Everyone! Hope everything is fine there!

I am creating a Mandala for a CD cover and I am trying hard to make some sparking particles (like lot of small brilliants lights) to illustrate the exact moment a magic happen (after a wand touch)...
Does any of you know if there is a plug in to do that?

I use a brush set that contains an array of sparkles. It's on the net somewhere for free. Can't remember exactly where I found it. But it's around. Just such for "sparkle brushes for photoshop"

I would just with the Brush Dynamics and then just add a gradient and inner glow and maybe outer glow
