Hi - I understand the basics of Photoshop, but not an expert. After several years of using it, something has happened and I cannot figure out how to fix. It's even hard to explain.

All my colors appear to be pastel. Where did my gray go? I can still pick colors from the Swatches, but its just all completely different now. On my color picker, I used to be able to pick any color of the rainbow - it started with red at the top and went through a range of primary and other colors. Now everything is just pastel.

Before, if I used the eyedropper to select gray, it would bring up all the gray options in a range. I can pick gray, but no other shades come up. I'm afraid I'm not explaining this well. If someone recognizes this problem and can help, PLEASE DO! THANKS!!!

In your color picker window check your color library settings sounds like your set for pastel.. change it

iDad...ok sounds good...how do I get it off pastel??? I go into the color library, but it just gives me options for Panetone, etc...

those options are up to you what color you want to use? I use pantone solid but like pantone metallic also .....

iDad....I don't think that's it. I did a screen shot of the color picker in Photoshop and a screen shot of the picker in Illustrator. Illustrator is normal...how PS used to look. I don't know how to get back to it..... See:
