Illustrator smart creation of enclosed polylines?

how can i make illustrator detect regions just like photoshop does using magic wand and make new enclosed polylines there?

This should be irrespective of the fact if the things surrounding a prticular region are grouped or ungrouped. just like it happens in autocad

Why have you added a video of beginners level AutoCAD, and a version from years ago at that?

well, to make myself clear what exactly what i want. this is a video of 2012 version. do you know if such thing can be done in illustrator?
