Slicing but maintaining layers

Hello all, how goes it?

Here's the deal. Is it possible to design a complete website layout in photoshop, slice it, but maintain the layers so you can take a portion of the site to Flash and animate it?

I created a really nice layout, and generally I know how to slice it if its just going to be an HTML site, but a portion of it, that's located pretty much in the center of the design that has layers of design, and layer effects, I want to add animation. How do I do this? If its possible?

Just make the slice where you want the animation to go, but replace it with a flash object after you export.

You can crop that area where you want the animation in Photoshop and "Save As" a new document so you have the layers to work with in Flash.
