I've been reading a lot about minimal design principles and have sought to redesign my website based on these standards. Here's an article that talks about the subject, http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/11/17/showcase-of-minimalist-and-clean-designs/. Anyway, I was working on the header image last night, paying particular attention to these principles around which website are built. When I was finished with it, I sat back and noticed that it has a sort of elegance about it. I don't know if it's the font choice or the colors or the alignment. Honestly I don't care either, it's what I'm going with. Oh yeah, no tutorials were ripped off here, no credit stolen either, ROFL!!

good but you should make it more better

Sam, I don't mean to be harsh really I don't. But what the hell does "good but I should make it more better" mean? Make it better when measured against what criteria or standards. And why should I make it more better? I think the title of my thread is befitting of the graphic showcased here.

Hello,
I do not know what Sam123 means but I have problems to read parts of it. Of course I do not know how large it would be when it is used, not even whether easy reading it is important on these graphic works.
Best regards,
Peter

I got that impression as well, so I did change a few things since I uploaded it here. Trust me when I say that it looks much better on the website that it's going on.
