shapes without alpha channel

Hi,
How can we create shapes in photoshop , without using alpha channels ??

Either I create it using built in shapes or a rectangular marquee and fill the selection, in both ways the image created has an alpha channel.

PS: the shape is a rounded rectangle with radius 2

alpha channel means transparancy
it just has info on what it's opacity is
without an alpha channel, photoshop doesn't know if it should be 0%, 100% or anything between that

why doen't you want an alpha channel?

jpg doesnt support alpha channel ,use those

Thanks Everyone ! I wanted to get rid of alpha channel because I was using an algorithm to write the image in a pdf file which did not support alpha channels.
