Shadows of Youth

Unless its the shadows in the background, you added the old couple.... lol...

(Chuckle) Yes, I added the old couple :) Being as this is a VERY cobbled together image, I was curious what, if any parts stood out as not seamless or obviously Photoshopped.

The walking-sicks of both the old people need to have shadows where they touch the ground. This would add the relism to the picture..

This would come in handy since you want to make a wall print out of this..

I'm glad you mentioned the canes. I was going to add a shadow from the gentleman's cane, but it's position read to me that it wasn't touching the ground, so no shadow. Whereas the ladies cane appears to be firmly planted on the ground.
Does this make sense to everyone, or does it look like there should be a shadow there?

iNoob, you are so funny!

Nice work, fatboy, whether there are things to polish up or not. Good to see you again. It would be nice to see a larger image. Is it high resolution? The only thing I wonder is if you have some shadow clipping. It's hard to see if there is detail such as in the old man's gloves. In any event, cool idea, great composition.

what??? oh... they are dancing...

Bowm-Chika-Bowm Bowm... LOL! I thought the same thing at first, but then I reasoned, who would seriously do THAT with an umbrella twirling in the wind.

Clare: Thanks, I'm glad you like it. The PSD of this is monster huge, so ya, I can put up a larger version. I don't like to post em too large though, easier find all of my mistakes. ;)

Thats a nice idea and execution Fatboy73.. :) I agree with some of the people who mentioned about the missing shadow of the canes. But one of the major thing thats catching my eye is that we have a really strong shadow going backwards but nowhere on either of them is any sign of such a strong light in that direction. Everything about their lighting suggests that the brightest light source seems to be from behind the plane where they are both located. But maybe its just me being picky.. :D Its a nice job either ways.. :) Keep going.

Thank you very much for the input :D

Nah on the posting larger. Just figured you had larger ... checking! So you can now find your own mistakes having had a fair amount of input. Nice work.

Fine! I'll just go over here and look for my own darn mistakes(walks over to computer siting in a cold, dark, cobwebby corner)

:bustagut:

awwww, I'll send you some flowers and a big teddy bear to keep you company! Maybe even send my doggie over to give you a little kiss . . .

Thanks for the gesture, I have four dogs. If dog slobber and poop were worth anything, I'd make bill gates look like a charity case. :)
