Hi all,

I am trying to create a template that when an image is inserted, approx one third of the image will be transformed to sepia, the rest of the image will remain untouched. (See example that i created manually, attached).

I have no difficulty creating sepia images, or doing this manually, my issue is how to create layer or some other strategy, that will allow this to happen simply by dropping an image in to a pre-formed layer template.

Thanks in advance.

I believe you could create an action to do that ask (Paul Mr) member he is really good at those things

A B&W adjustment layer set to tint will do it, fill a third of the mask with black. Save it a psd, then you can add any photo below this layer and you'll have the result you're after. As iDad suggested you can set up an action to do the heavy lifting for you, if you have a large number of them to do.
