Hi , Want to creat printing plates form this image so please seperate and post every single image. Thanx [oops] + also tell the method.

Will people actually do this for you around here?!? I really hope not.

As to how to do it, it's pretty tricky.

First off, make sure it's legal to use their logo. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a lot of guidelines on correct usage.

Secondly, find a better version of the logo if you are going to be printing it. Either through KFC or a site like www.brandsoftheworld.com .

Thirdly, to create separations, you are going to want to look into using spot colors for the separations. Do a google search for "photoshop color separations tutorial" and you'll get lots of great links like this one:

Hey thanx for the links , I did it. I don't know if you're new in here co'z you don't know about the spirit of pplz here they are really helpful :P

Yo Evil. Bite your tongue! ;)

jonbalza isn't new at all. He was one of the originals but hasn't been around these parts as he has been a mainstay over at PST. If he starts coming around here, we will all benefit mightily. I can safely say his PS expertise is far above my own. Don't tell anybody... [shhh]

About your post... I didn't answer because I had serious reservations about using a copyrighted trademark but wasn't sure of the legal ramifications. I thought his answer was great. It addressed the legal concern and pointed you in the direction to figure it out! That's an excellent answer in my book!

I'm glad you got it figured out! [honesty]

Thanx Welles, Sorry I didn't know about that. Well, this isn't illegal co'z their owner wants to print T-shirts of this Logo, so they contacted with me. That's it 8}

To explain my comment, Evil - if someone wants to actually do that work for you, that is entirely their perogative.

However, if you don't gain the experience of doing it yourself, you'll never expand your skills - and I kind of think the idea of forums like these are to learn, not to have work done for you.

You know, the whole "give a man a fish..." thing.

(As to their owner - even with a franchisee, you never even know if THEY have permission or not. But at least you have somewhere to place the blame. ;) )

Great! Almost all professional PS users and artists will be very careful to honor the copyright holder of images, logos, and so forth because our lives are affected by the legitimacy of creative ownership. In the worst cases, should one's work become popular, the rip-offs become devastating. I remember Bill Watterson, a wonderful artist who created Calvin and Hobbes, said that he quit in large part because the Calvin figure was being ripped off world wide for totally tacky purposes and he just didn't want to deal with it anymore. What a loss. ...and that doesn't even begin to address the legal complications which make my head spin... 8D
