Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be possible to make a working scoreboard with PS and if not what process or program do they usually make those in?

My son is thinking of doing live webcast of games and would like to get a scoreboard that is onscreen and can be updated to tell score, inning, teams outs etc.

Thanks for any replies,

you mean, give an imput like 9-0 and then it changes automaticly?

What you can do is use photoshop to create the numbers 0 to 9,
then another program to change the numbers.

Hi ESD,

Using Photoshop to create the primary graphic interface as well as all of the changing information such as score, outs, innings, etc,.. is a fairly easy task. Photoshop has many functions that I, myself, am not aware of, however, having the ability to change the scoreboard information on the fly during a webcast may be, based on my limited knowledge, a bit of a stretch for Photoshop. But I would not swear to that!

In my research on this subject I did find an interesting tutorial on using POWERPOINT to accomplish this sort of task. You can use Photoshop to create the layout for this tutorial.

Hopefully someone with a deeper understanding of Photoshops many hidden abilities will chime in and teach us all a lesson.
