Saving Layers as New Files

I have a Photoshop 7 image that contains 7 layers. I also have the Photoshop 7 Help file. I searched in that Help file but could not find anything about saving layers as a file. Could someone please describe how to save each layer as a separate file?

Photoshop 7 has no scripting interface - therefore no export as layer function.
You could of course save layer by layer by hand or try to export the layers with Photopea (not tested)

Ahhhhh yes, I did overlook that! Thanks.

In that case I would just carefully use "save as" and create a new PSD file for each layer.

Yeah... yeah... hmmm
I'll copy my file 6 times, then go into each one and delete all but the layer I want to keep.
I appreciate the suggestions! Funny how one tends to forget the simplest method.

Well.....that will work, but I would just open the original, remove the layers I don't want, then use "save as" and rename. Close the newly renamed file and re-open the original.........then repeat.
