Saving format for instagram?

How to I go about saving my files from Photoshop so that they will fit perfectly on Instagram without me having to use one of those cropping apps?

I don't use Instagram, so I'm making some assumptions, but you will very likely need to:

a) Crop your image to a 1:1 (ie, square) aspect ratio, and then, after you have done that,

b) Use Photoshop's "image size" adjustment (with resampling turned on) to make the final pixel dimensions be whatever Instagram requires.

If you have ANY version of Photoshop, it will be able to do these things. You won't have to use some little utility program.

For (a), Google {photoshop tutorial crop}.
For (b), Google {photoshop tutorial resize resampling}.
