Hi,

First post so I hope it’s in the correct place…

Using CS3 I have noticed a problem when I save a file for web & Devices the image size displays in the bottom left but when it actually saves the file is much larger i.e. image 226 x 283 says it will be sized 16k however when you look at the file size it is actually 31k after saving. It has reduced but not by the correct amount. Its the same problem if I save it as a Jpeg, PNG or GIF. I’m sure it has worked in the past, but I don’t know where to start looking. Any ideas would be great?

I currently have to use a old version of Elements to reduce the image sizes, which works fine apart from being a pain…

Thanks

Thanks Evil Nemesis, but i have checked the file size and it saves the file at about twice the size it says it will. When i save the file using an old copy of Elements the file saves at the correct size.
