Hi everyone. First trime here. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to embed text that changes or "flashes" into a picture. I guess I should mention that I have elements 9. Thanks

I don't understand what you're asking. Is this a static image you're talking about, or something that moves and interacts?

I guess it would be a static image. Something like this.

Edit.... Whoops.. I have to have 8 posts before I can toos up a link. Be back soon.

Ok...I got my 8 posts in and am back.. I'm trying to do something like this: A pic where I can have the text "flash" or "change". Thanks.

Edit:
I went ahead and deleted that image.
What you're asking about is an animated GIF.

Right. That just looks like an animated .gif file. My old Photoshop would allow you to stitch animated .gifs together using Image Ready. Not sure about Elements.

There are lots of free and shareware programs that'll let you build animated .gifs, with varying levels of control. So you'd use Elements to make the various images you want to rotate, and some other tool to put them together.

The problem is that I just stole this as an example and pasted it here. Anyone here know how to do it? Thanks.

You multiple images and then put them together using a program that makes animated .gif files. And that program is probably not Elements, I'm guessing.

Hmmmm, cracked open the wife's elements 8, and didn't see anything in regards to image ready. But that doesn't mean you can't, it just means I couldn't find anything.

Ya know Steve..when I now look back at how all this unfolded..... I DID look like a spammer!!! Sorry about that.

I only went to the new member section because I knew it was the quickest way to meet the minimum count so I could post the example of the image that related to my question.

I definitely deserved to have the link removed. I appreciate you letting me stay... and I'll be sure to pay closer attention to the rules.
