hi

i have a Stupid question how do you rotate people from two different images to face each other in one image

thanks

Hello.

You cant rotate any aspect or subject within a 2 dimensional photo, at least not enough so the subject would be facing another subject. You would have to take new photos of the subjects in rotated positions.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you saying that you have two photos — Image 1 and Image 2 — and you want to flip one of them so that they are facing each other?

If your starting images look like this...

...then you can flip one of them so that they are facing each other.
  • If the two images are separate files, then open one of them and go to Image>Rotation>Flip Horizontal.
  • If the images are two separate layers within the same Photoshop file, then pick one of the layers and go to Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal.
Then you will have this, where they are facing each other:

But maybe I'm completely misunderstanding your question.

Yes Rich , I was about to post this question! I though maybe I had misunderstood the question. It is the term "rotate" that's throwing me off.

As we used to say in our shop - the only stupid question is the one that's never asked.

As far as rotating people, there are limitations. If the images are of the two people facing straight into the camera, you can't effectively rotate them 90 degrees so they face each other.

You can do some rotation using neural filters so they might have their heads more turned to each other with a change in gaze. But even that is limited.

Best to post the images if you have them so we can see what you need.

This could be any number of errors and might also be related to the version you're running and the platform you're on. These filters are still in beta so bugs are common.
But again, this is a limited solution based on what you're trying to do. If you post the image(s), we may be able to offer solutions and assistance.
Someone else may jump in with a more technical explanation...

Error would not be due to a Shutterstock image.
Can you let me know what platform and version you're working with and which version of Photoshop you're using. Might be able to research the issue a little deeper.

You can try to rename the PluginData folder and download the plugin(s) again.

%appdata%\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage\PHSP\22\Internal\com.adobe.nfp.gallery\
