I created a rollover efect with IR with some fotos and get html file and slices...how to place it in the free cell in Dreamweaver on my page? [confused]

mmm... not sure where exactly you're at here imo, but... try this... take the images you made and put them into your "image" folder for the site. Then take the html code IR created for the rollOvers and C&P that into your page(s) in DW.

That make sense?

Thank you theKeeper for your reply. I know that I must c&p somethilng to somewhere, but didn't know from where to start copy and where exactly paste in Code View of DW.

javascript?

hey im not sure what your talking about but you might be talking
javascript

go to my site

http://www34.brinkster.com/cheezyfilms/index2.html

and on to top menu move your mouse over the buttens if you have dial up it might take a second for it to be able to do it

if thats what your asking about ill tell you the easy type of coding
(not whats on my site) lol thats alot more then your prob asking about if you trying to do what i think you are

Thanks mikey. :righton:

Where ever the javascript and html code is in the IR html document, would be exactly where you'd paste it to in your DW document.

RollOver scripts usually go between the <HEAD></HEAD> tags. And each link code for the buttons in the body section will have a bit of code in them as well.

That's what you want to be looking for in the IR document.

Hey, what you want to do, and I create rollovers all of the time without using ImageReady--in fact, the only thing I use ImageReady for is animated .gifs--what you want to do is create your "up" state, which means what you want it to look like when the user is not hovering their mouse over it-- and your "over" state for when they are--in Photoshop. Then in Dreamweaver MX, place your cursor where you want the button/graphic. Then you can just hit a button(pictured) and it will come up with a nifty dialog box where you can state your "up" and your "over" image. When you're done and hit OK, Dreamweaver creates all of the necessary Javascript code. Make sure that your rollovers are as big as your cell before you insert them. This may be a convoluted way of doing this, but it gets the job done for me. Hope this helps

ahh thanks i didnt even know you could do that in dreamweaver lol saved me from writing out all the script :)
