No mate it's a real photo taken locally my way, it made the news here.

Myopic dolphin! :bustagut:

Actually, surfers here tell me it's not at all uncommon for the dolphins to play alongside of them. Maybe they come over thinking the guys are sharks then see they're just playing! I see them pretty close to shore now and then. It always makes me stop and hold my breath.

Maybe I was wrong Paul, so I googled a bit.

A big dolphin (not the big orca) could be as big as 4 m. A male surfer's height is 1.8 m.
This is a factor of 222% between the two bodies.

In your picture I measured the dolphin 1.35 cm, and the surfer is 0.9 cm.
This is a factor of 150% between the two bodies, not considering the distance between surfer and dolphin.

I decided to take a factor of average 200%. In the posted image I enlarged the dolphin to 200% and put it next to the surfer. Then I reduced the size of the surfer to 50% and put it back to the dolphin.

When I compare the proportions now in the final image I must say they look quite normal. I'm now certain this image is not photoshopped.

I apologize for my earlier posts.
